i never thought i would be the type of person to have a busy or casual schedule, the type of person to say “let me check my work schedule first if i’m free.” this new shift in my life is surreal.
i miss my friends immensely: going on photography adventures, a quick trip to world market, catching up on kpop news. but it’s funny. i’ve actually grown stronger in friendships with mates that live miles and miles away. i long to embrace their warm arms (hopefully someday soon!).
earlier today i picked up on my writing, a strange and nebulous feeling of enthusiasm and abhorrence—a feeling i miss all too much. i have to remember to write every day because come fall, i will have no life while in my speech therapy program.
here’s to an even busier summer of working, writing, getting back to blogging/photographing, and road tripping to the bay.

head over heels in love with. We went jellyfishing in West Virginia
on the beach and when they stung his foot I licked the venom
out of the wound and kept it in…
